Fair Usage Policy
Our operational framework for managing shared global infrastructure resources, preventing compute degradation, and ensuring peak performance across all tenant boundaries.
1. Fair Resource Allocation
Our shared environment hypervisors dynamically distribute CPU and RAM. While short-duration compute bursts are permitted, persistent high-load processes that degrade hypervisor IOPS or compute availability for co-tenants will be automatically throttled.
2. Network Utilization
Standard instances include unmetered bandwidth under fair usage conditions. Deploying nodes as public CDN edges, continuous torrent seeding, or operating Tor exit relays consumes extreme sustained bandwidth and is strictly prohibited on non-dedicated ports.
3. Storage Arrays
Enterprise NVMe storage is provisioned for active application data, databases, and OS environments. Utilizing instance storage as a remote backup archive, media dumping ground, or massive personal cloud drive violates fair usage metrics.
4. Database Clusters
Managed databases are optimized for transactional application queries. Highly intensive data scraping operations, massive continuous indexing, or anomalous high-frequency polling that stresses shared DB clusters must be offloaded to dedicated hardware.
5. Telemetry & Optimization
Our infrastructure automatically monitors node telemetry. If an instance consistently breaches fair usage thresholds, our engineering team may issue alerts or mandate an upgrade to isolated bare-metal or dedicated enterprise environments.
Scale Up?
If your application requires guaranteed continuous high-resource allocation, our Dedicated and Enterprise tiers provide the perfect isolated environment.
